April 2021 Mixer!

Hello, game devs, game dev adjacent, and game dev curious! Our next mixer will be held on April 28th from 7pm to 9pm on our Discord. This is a good opportunity to show any work-in-progress projects you’ve been working on!

This month, we will be collaborating with the Boston Unity Group. They will be streaming the event on their Twitch channel, which you can follow here:

February 2021 Mixer!

Hello, game devs, game dev adjacent, and game dev curious! We hope everyone had an awesome holiday and new year! Our next mixer will be held on February 17th from 7pm to 9pm on our Discord. This is a good opportunity to show any work-in-progress projects you’ve been working on!

The Game of the Month is Perfect Vermin, which you can get for free on Steam. We’ll be discussing the gameplay of it. It should be noted that the game has mature content, so only download the game if you’re comfortable doing so.

January 2021 mixer and Global Game Jam!

Hello, game devs, game dev adjacent, and game dev curious! We hope everyone had an awesome holiday and new year! Our next mixer will be held on January 23rd from 2pm to 4pm on our Discord. This is a good opportunity to show any work-in-progress projects you’ve been working on!

Our Game of the Month is No Man’s Sky. We’ll be discussing the various aspects of the game. If you don’t already own the game, you can get it on Steam in the link below, or you can watch a video walkthrough of the game.

November 2020 mixer!

Hello, game devs, game dev adjacent, and game dev curious! Our next mixer will be held on November 21st from 2pm to 4pm on our Discord. If you have any work-in-progress projects you want to show, this is your chance!

Our Game of the Month is Among Us. We’ll be playing a few rounds before discussing it. If you don’t already own the game, you can get it for free on iOS and Android, and $5 on Steam. Both versions have cross-platform play, so you’ll be able to participate in either.

We have a talk planned by Alec Guarino, who will discuss version control. Stefan Lopuszanski will also be showing a game he helped make for the recently finished GMTK Game Jam 2020!

June 2020 Virtual Mixer!

Hello, game devs and the game dev curious! We’re hosting our next virtual mixer this month! As before, it will be held on our Discord server on Saturday, June 27th from 1-4pm. This time, we’re giving away Steam Keys for TimeTekker to everyone who attends! This fantastic game was created by Ryan O’ Hara, a graduate of Quinnipiac University.
