August and September 2020 Mixers!

Hello, game devs, game dev adjacent, and game dev curious! Got something to share? A work-in-progress? The first time you made a ball bounce around on the screen? We want to see it! Come join CT game developers and hobbyists in an informal sharing and feedback mixer! We have two upcoming mixers! As before, they will be held on our Discord server. The first one will be Wednesday, August 19th from 7-9pm. The second one will be Saturday, September 19th from 2-4pm

July 2020 Mixer!

Hello, game devs and the game dev curious! We’re hosting our next virtual mixer this month! As before, it will be held on our Discord server on Saturday, July 25th from 1-4pm. We have a talk planned by Alec Guarino, who will discuss version control. Stefan Lopuszanski will also be showing a game he helped make for the recently finished GMTK Game Jam 2020!

June 2020 Virtual Mixer!

This time, we’re giving away Steam Keys for TimeTekker to everyone who attends! This fantastic game was created by Ryan O’ Hara, a graduate of Quinnipiac University. GameDevCT March Mixer!

Hello game devs and the game dev curious! We’re hosting another Mixer! This month’s Mixer will be held at Elm City Games in New Haven on Saturday, March 28th from 1-4pm. One of our board members, Matt Fantastic, will be doing a workshop called “From the Table to the Screen.” He’ll be talking about rapid prototyping in the physical world and how it is an incredibly useful tool for everyone, including digital designers. Join us for a talk about the why, the how, and the best practices of tabletop design for digital projects. We’re also looking for a few more people to show off what they’ve been working on.  Sign up here!
